French skincare brand myBlend has added two new devices to its beauty tech ecosystem: myBLEMISHpen, a blue-light tool for skin imperfections, and myDARKSPOTpen, a green-light tool for dark spots.

The launch comes barely a year after myBlend introduced the myLIFTINGroller and a new version of its LED mask, signaling an accelerated cadence in the brand's device pipeline.

myBLEMISHpen draws on dermatological protocols, combining blue light with red light to target blemishes. Blue light is the wavelength most commonly associated with antibacterial action against Cutibacterium acnes, while red light supports calming and repair — a pairing formulators and treatment providers will recognize from professional-grade acne protocols.

myDARKSPOTpen applies green light to pigmentation concerns, a wavelength category increasingly featured in at-home devices aimed at dark spots and uneven tone.

For spas, clinics and retailers, the launches matter on two fronts. First, they extend the at-home device category into highly targeted, single-concern tools — a shift from the broad-face LED mask toward pen-format precision applications that complement rather than replace in-clinic treatments. Practitioners treating acne or pigmentation clients may find these devices fit a maintenance-protocol positioning between visits.

Second, the move reflects the broader convergence of skincare brands and hardware. myBlend, which built its identity around skincare, is now shipping a multi-device ecosystem within roughly a year, betting that consumer retention sits as much in device attach rates as in refill consumables and topical regimens.

Watch for whether myBlend discloses clinical data on the two pens — wavelength specifications, treatment duration and measured results on blemish and pigmentation counts would be the next data points the professional audience needs.
